Jasna Zgoda Złota

The street layout in the city centre, albeit disrupted by Warsaw’s turbulent history, is to be enriched with a new square, with a beautiful bank building serving as a reference point.

The very city centre of Warsaw is a space dominated by car traffic and urban planning typical of the 1970s. Although long gone, the structure of historical squares may still be recreated in some places which are now going to be revitalized. The competition for designing a square between the Jasna, Zgoda and Złota Streets was promoted by a poster. For the poster, a simple, typographic design was used to show the structure of the location, with the emphasis put on its predominant feature, i.e. the early modernist building of the Bank Under The Eagles.
